Nebraska Workers Compensation Claims

An employee should notify their employer immediately of any work related injury, and seek medical attention. They should also inform the physician, who should then file a first treatment medical report with the employer or insurer. All charges for medical treatment should be sent to the employer or insurer as well. If a problem arises, the employee should contact the Nebraska Workers' Compensation Court for further assistance. Numerical Exceptions: None. Employers engaged in an agricultural operation are required to provide workers' compensation insurance coverage for all unrelated, full-time employees on each working day for 13 calendar weeks whether consecutive or not during any calendar year. This includes employees at all locations of the agricultural operation

  • Compensation is retroactive if disability continues for what period of time from the date of injury? 6 weeks
